RESIDENTS in the scenic coastal village of Courtmacsherry are demanding answers from Cork County Council following the removal, without warning of a number of public refuse bins from the area.
Earlier this week those living in the scenic seaside village noticed some of the street rubbish bins had been removed. When they looked further into this it seems Cork County Council removed the bins.
Residents are angry due to the fact Courtmacsherry is a tourist spot and bins are needed as we approach the Spring and Summer. Cork County Council have yet to come back to answer why the bins were removed.
Local resident and former Cork County Councillor John O’Sullivan contacted C103’s Cork Today Show and spoke with Patricia Messinger on the issue
