A WOMAN who found internet fame last year as one of Daniel O’Donnell’s biggest fans is among four people facing drugs charges following a raid on a cocaine extraction lab in Bantry.

Molly Kate Sloyan from Kinsale found internet fame last year when she was a member of the Late Late Show audience. Expecting to see her idol Daniel O’Donnell on the show her bitterly disappointed reaction when “Daniel” turned out to be impressionist Mario Rosenstock went viral on the web. To make it up to her Daniel invited Molly Kate to his show in Killarney where she met the man himself.

Ms Sloyan (25), was one of four people arrested in an operation in West Cork on Sunday evening 26th November. The Cork Divisional Drugs Unit and Cork City Drugs Unit supported by Customs Officials searched a house at Dromleigh, Bantry.

During the course of the search Gardaí discovered a quantity of cocaine and chemicals used in the processing of illegal drugs. The estimated street value of the drugs is unknown but is expected to be in excess of €100,000.

The four, Ms Sloyan, Sean McManus (36), Dean Gilsenan (26) and William Gilsenan (51) all from Dublin appeared at Bandon District Court yesterday (Wednesday) facing charges of possession of cocaine for sale or supply. They are due to appear again at Clonakilty District Court on December 5th.
