A West Cork micro-enterprise specialising in handmade baby gifts and children’s toys has launched an exciting new for Christmas 2017; personalised superhero capes.
All toddlers and children like to dress up and enter their imaginary worlds of exciting pursuits, dangers and unexpected adventures. These capes will truly assist them to fly off into their newly created worlds.
With their own name on the back of the cape, no one will be left in doubt who the real supermen and women of tomorrow will be. These capes come in a choice of colours, customisation options and of course, a matching mask if wanted (from €23, 2 sizes). They are also made using very brilliant eco-felt made from recycled bottles! This also makes them fully washable at 30 degrees, bestowing them with even more superpowers.
Little Green Dot has also teamed up with several creative people for another novel gift offering this Christmas. They have co-ordinated several craft workshops for after the post-Christmas period so they make a perfect gift or offer a great chance to try something new. There are various options for adults and something for all tastes; chocolate making, brewery-food experience, dress-making, ceramics, furniture upcycling, introduction to sewing, felting etc. There are also child-friendly workshops for children from age 7; ‘Become a Superhero’ where they make their own costume and ‘Make a Sock creature’. Places are limited and on a first come served basis.
