Ring Rowing Club – 4th South coast indoor rowing championship

Ring Rowing Club held their 4th Annual South Coast Indoor Rowing Championship on Monday 1st May in Darrara Agricultural Hall .

We had a massive turnout and a huge thank you to the following clubs that attended,

Focus on Fitness

With competitors ranging from 10 years up to 60+ the competition was intense , but fun was had by all and especially in the last races of the day “the relay” these races never seize to amaze .

Ring Rowing Club had its own success during the day starting with the underage races with the following results

 Gavin O Donovan receiving Bronze in the Junior 13

Eoin Murphy receiving gold in the Junior 14

Conor Ryan receiving Silver in the Junior 14

Jack Conway receiving gold in the Junior 16

Rory Cullinane receiving gold in the Junior 18 

James Deasy receiving Bronze in the Junior 18

Kevin O’Donovan receiving Silver in the Open men 2k

Padraig Griffin receiving Bronze in the Mens LW 2k

Ger O ‘Driscoll receiving Silver in the Masters Race

In the Junior relay the Team of Eoin Fahy , Brian O’Donovan , Ciara Ferguson and Aleesha Hurley receiving  silver in their category

And in the Adult relay the team of Don O Donovan , Ciara Deasy , Virge Daly and Dave Sheehy came home with bronze .
