Projecx Waterboys win 2017 Heineken Kinsale 7s

Scottish team The Projecx Waterboys were crowned 2017 Heineken Kinsale 7s Champions, defeating Sherrard’s Assasins 33-12. The Wooden Spoon won the Women’s Trophy and The King Prawns won the Men’s Open competition.

Now in its 29th year, the Heineken Kinsale 7s is Ireland’s largest rugby 7s tournament and builds on its success each year. Over 80 teams and supporters enjoyed great running rugby and the huge festival atmosphere in Kinsale RFC and in the town over the May Bank Holiday weekend.
