In reading ABFI’s response (3rd July) and it’s recourse to supposition, I am reminded of the old proverb:
“if ‘ifs and buts’ were candy and nuts, Christmas would be every day.”
Again, might I recommend a simple reading of the Bill and its provisions, to understand that there is no provision to prohibit alcohol products’ sponsorship of arts or cultural events, or the prohibition of alcohol advertising.
