Ciara Hurley

Brave run by Ciara

Ciara Hurley was the only athlete from West Muskerry AC in action on Sunday last the 23rd of October in New Market on Fergus, Co. Clare in the Munster even age championships. She competed in the girls under 12s 2,000m.

The weather conditions of wind and rain made the underfoot conditions very tough but Ciara never gave in.

She settled well in the first lap but got a stitch on the second lap. She recovered from this again and fought bravely to the finish line gaining valuable places.

She was out of the medals on this occasion but she finished very strongly and will take a lot of positives from this race going forward to her next race.
