A WELL known South London criminal has been charged in relation to the €440 million cocaine haul made at Dunlough Bay on the Mizen Peninsula five years ago.

The 45-year-old, named as Stephen Brown was extradited from Spain to the UK and was charged for his alleged involvement in what is still Ireland’s biggest ever drugs seizure.

He was charged at Westminster Magistrates Court with conspiracy to smuggle cocaine.

Six people have already been jailed in both Ireland and the UK in connection with the case.
