SATURDAY, July 7th is Ireland’s first national tennis day and as part of the nationwide celebrations the Ardfield Rathbarry Tennis Club is hosting a fun-filled and action-packed open day.

On the day the club’s courts and facilities will be freely available from 12pm until 6pm to all members, guests, juniors and adults and invite anyone with an interest in tennis to come along and join in the fun. 

The event is open to everyone with an interest in playing tennis; on the day there will be free coaching with our club professional between 3pm and 5pm, the chance to play a few games and enjoy a range of activities for players of all ages and standards.

Balls and rackets will be available and everyone is reminded to wear trainers. Away from the courts free refreshments and a BBQ and everyone who attends will have the chance to win a year’s free membership.

Located in the parish of Ardfield, the club is well established; with two floodlight state of the art all weather courts offering members all year round tennis.

The club runs coaching for junior and adult members, hosts a number of social and serious competitions throughout the year giving you the chance to meet and play with other members of similar standard.

Away from the court the club hosts a regular number of social events.
