Bandon Music Festival

THE Bandon Music Festival is in full swing with Bressie headlining on Saturday night with support from The Hard Ground while Cork favourites Fred are the headliners for Sunday night with J90 playing support.

Innishannon Steam and Vintage Rally

ONE of the country’s biggest steam rallies takes place again this Bank Holiday Weekend as thousands are expected to attend the Innishannon Steam and Vintage Rally 2012.

The 15th Innishannon Steam and Vintage Rally will again be held at the 38-acre venue one mile from Innishannon Village on Sunday and Monday, June 3rd and 4th commencing at 1.30pm Sunday and 1pm Monday.

There will be more than 1,000 exhibits at the show including huge tractors, threshers, unique cars, motorbikes, oil and steam engines as well as a full working forge.

Rosscarbery Festival by the Sea

THE Rosscarbery Festival by the Sea takes place from June 1st -4th this year.

Started in 2008, the Festival by the Sea is a fun filled weekend of family entertainment with events that will suit all tastes.

Starting with bouncing castles, face painting, petting zoo for the kids and moving on to an open-air trad session.

Saturday comes to a finale with an open-air concert in the Square with one of the top bands from Europe.

Sunday excitement continues with a puppet show, open air dancing and climaxes with a showcase band to finish off a truly memorable weekend for all the family.
