THE National Flower Festival in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland will be held in Clonakilty from June 22nd to 24th with the opening night in the Church of the Immaculate Conception on Friday 22nd at 7.30pm followed by a reception in a marquee in Kennedy Gardens.

On Saturday, June 23rd the Church of the Immaculate Conception, the Church of Ireland, Kilgarriffe and the Methodist Church on Kent Street will host more than 200 floral exhibitions.

A Concert is planned in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, at 8.30pm, and promises to be one of the highlights of the event.

On Sunday, June 24th from 12.30pm to 5.30pm the three Churches are open for the floral exhibitions.

The closing ceremony will be held in the Church of Ireland that evening.
