THE big top is up, the food is cooking and the visitors are arriving for the 2012 Clonakilty Waterfront Festival.

There’s a mouth-watering line-up of musical acts for this year’s event which runs from today (August 2nd) until August 5th.

Big names set to perform include Scouting for Girls, The Kanyu Tree, Relish, Republic of Loose, The 4 Of Us and Gerry Fish and the Mudbug Club.

Another highlight will be a DJ set from Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas to set off the Full Moon Party on Sunday night supported by 2FM’s Jenny Greene of Electric Disco and local favourite Craig Scott.

Of course, music is not the only item on the agenda for ClonFest 2012 with the “Flavours of West Cork” returning to the festival tent for another year featuring a feast of delicious local artisan produce from restaurants and suppliers from across West Cork.
