SAVE a date in your diary this May Bank Holiday for the Bandon half marathon, 10K and six mile walk. Now in its fourth year, the event continues to attract large numbers for the three individual events. It is again organised by two of Bandon’s premier sporting clubs, Bandon Rugby and Bandon Athletic Club for which it is a joint fundraiser.
The Mealagh Valley 10-Mile Race was held on 9th February near Bantry in West Cork and organised by Bantry AC. There were 77 finishers.
