GARDAÍ in Bandon investigating two murders are once again asking members of the public who may have any information to come forward.

The appeal comes as the forensic examination of the flat where John Forrester (42) lived was completed yesterday.

The body of Mr Forrester who was originally from Blackpool in England was recovered from the Bandon River on Tuesday.

They have made contact with the family members of Mr Forrester in Blackpool and Lincoln, England who have confirmed his identity.

A Family Liaison Officer has been appointed

He had been living in Ireland for several years and efforts are continuing to contact any relatives he may have in the UK.

Gardaí want to speak to anyone who may have seen Mr Forrster after around 6pm last Saturday, November 12th.

The funeral of Jonathan Duke (27) whose body was recovered from the Bandon River on Sunday night will take place tomorrow at St Patrick’s Church in Bandon at 11.30am.
