As the rally is the second round of the Clonakilty Blackpudding Irish Tarmac Modified Championship there has been a lot of interest and the quality of the entry reflects this.

THE 35th Quality Hotels West Cork Rally took place on the weekend of the 16th & 17th March. Despite the tough economic conditions 128 cars took to the start in the main field. Daragh O’Riordan who won the event in 2012 was the top seed and his new Ford Fiesta WRC was certainly the centre of attraction among the large crowds that gathered in Clonakilty.
