Bandon sewerage scheme works suspended

WORKS on stage 2 of the Bandon Sewerage Scheme have been suspended, Cork County Council has confirmed.   In the statement the council said, “Construction on the Bandon Sewerage Scheme – Stage 2 contract has been suspended due to events beyond the control of either party.

Christmas cheer with free parking in Bandon

CORK County Council will make Harte’s Car Park in Bandon available free of charge from Saturday 26th November until Christmas Eve. The announcement by Town Manager, Kevin O’Neill comes just days after County Manager Martin Riordan made €5,000 available to erect the Christmas lights in the town.
