Bantry Community Choir concert hits the right note

The Three Tenors draw big crowd to Inchydoney charity concert

Inchydoney Hotel was the magnificent backdrop to the hugely successful Three Tenors concert in aid of the “Jeep for Jason” fund, and a very fitting grande finale to the fundraising. The trio, Ray O’Hare, Declan Kelly and Dominic McGorian thrilled the sell out concert goers with renditions of ‘Blaze Away’ and ‘Courting in the Kitchen’, accompanied by Marie Mason on violin and pianist Gillian Saunders.

Skibb set to party as COPE arts fest hits the streets

SKIBBEREEN will be alive with the sounds of music this weekend as part of this year’s Irish Performing Arts Festival for people with intellectual disabilities and autism. Since 2009, COPE Foundation has pioneered and successfully hosted the international Festival, whose patron is President of Ireland Michael D. Higgins, and this year’s event which runs from June 27 -30 is set to be bigger and better than ever.
