by Stephen Johnson Kenmare residents turned in force out last weekend for “Kerry to Calais”, a volunteer effort to raise money and collect goods for refugees fleeing strife in the Middle East. The event was hosted by SuperValu.
MUSKERRY Special Olympics Club is actively recruiting volunteers and athletes. Athletes need to be six years or over to join. The club train in St. Coleman’s National School, Macroom every Thursday night from 7pm to 8pm.
