Wild Game Night in Macroom

MACROOM & District Gun Club is holding a Wild Game Night on Saturday 28th February at Mary Anne’s Bar, Masseytown from 9:30pm onwards. Wild game consisting of duck, pheasant, woodcock, rabbit, venison, pigeon and much more will be prepared and cooked on site by Brian Granville, Head Chef at Granville’s Bar and Grill, Macroom.

New head chef at the Celtic Ross Hotel

THE Celtic Ross Hotel in Rosscarbery has announced the appointment of new head chef Alex Petit, who has joined the kitchen team headed by executive head chef Graeme Campbell. Alex was born in Brittany and spent his early years training in many fine dining restaurants, such as the Grand Hotel in Dinard and Le Mutin Gourmand before moving to Ireland 10-years-ago.
