HOLLYWOOD star Cillian Murphy is set to join DJ Donal Dineen and guitarist Niwel Tsumbu as a “special guest” at a one-off concert at Connolly’s of Leap as part of the Skibbereen Arts Festival.
Murphy, star of movie hits including The Dark Knight Rises, Inception, Tron: Legacy and The Wind That Shakes the Barley will perform a guest DJ set on the night along with artist Mark Garry.
Donal Dineen is a pioneering DJ, photographer and filmmaker and he has built a massive fan base nationwide.
Donal is renowned for consistently breaking new underground music and for bringing a warm energetic atmosphere to the crowd.
He played for the first time with Congolese guitarist Niwel Tsumbu at the Electric Picnic in 2009.
Since arriving in Ireland in 2004 from the Congo, Niwel Tsumbu has developed an enviable reputation as a masterfully elegant and fluent guitarist, vocalist, musician, collaborator and composer.
After the headline act the party with Murphy and Garry stepping in behind the decks to spin some tunes.
Tickets for the gig at 10pm on August 2nd are still available priced at €15.
