The major cycling event is set to liven the streets and mountains of Glengarriff and the Beara Peninsula on the weekend of Sept 15th.
There are four beautiful courses to cater for entrants of all abilities, all starting and finishing in Glengarriff.
Cork Sports Partnership has designed routes that are uniquely scenic and without a traffic light or roundabout for 160km, organisers are sure this will be the most enjoyable leg of the An Post Cycle Series.
A day on the bike will be followed by a festival atmosphere in Glengarriff.
The event sponsored by An Post and in association with the Irish Sports Council encourages communities around the country to get on their bikes.
This one day cycling event gives people of Cork and visitors to the county the chance to enjoy stunning scenery ranging from majestic mountains to picturesque countryside and rural villages all from the saddle of their bikes.
