They have been thrilling audiences throughout West Cork with their sold out concerts, and now, “Intermezzo” are set to bring this delightful show to The Maritime Hotel, Bantry, on Thursday, May 10th at 8pm.
“Intermezzo”, with it’s varied mix of musical styles, from classical to Latin, interspersed with songs from stage and screen, will perform a wide variety of music that will touch the hearts of all music lovers, young and old. With songs such as Bizet’s “Habanera” from “Carmen”, “I dreamed a dream” from “Les Miserables”, and timeless classics like “Somewhere over the rainbow” and “Volare”. The show also packs a punch with dance tunes such as “Sway” and “Eso Beso” to give the show that Latin touch.
‘Intermezzo” features gifted soprano, Julie O’ Sullivan, the majestic voice of Debbie Coleman, and musical director, pianist and vocalist, John Cullinane. The line-up also includes Classical and Jazz bassist, George Hart and percussionist, John Fitzgerald.
“Internezzo represents a whole new dimension to music” and the night promises to be a delightful, magical evening in an intimate, fully seated candlelit setting. An experience not to be missed.
The show takes place on Thursday, May 10th, in “The Winward Room” at The Maritime Hotel, Bantry at 8pm. Doors open 7pm.
