Programme of Events:

Castletownbere Saturday March 17th.

1.30pm:  Music in the Square “Open the Taps”

1.50pm:  All Floats to line up on East End of the Pier.

2.30pm:  The Parade starts led by Piper Dermot Milner.


The parade proceeds to the West End and back into The Square, where MC Teddy Black will introduce each float as it passes the viewing stand.

While the judges make what is normally a very tough decision on who takes the spoils.

Scoil Rince Carney will entertain the crowd with a fabulous display of Irish Dancing.

The judges will then announce the winner in the following categories:

Best over all Float

Best Business Float

Best Commercial Float

Best Voluntary Float

Best Walking Group

Best Music Float (musical instruments in this group only)

Best Individual Adult;

Best Group U6, U13,& U18.
