THE intensive search for two missing fishermen in Glandore Harbour will resume tomorrow (Sunday).
More than 300 people took part in extensive searching today in the hope of finding the bodies of missing Tit Bonhomme skipper Michael Hayes (52) and crewmember Saied Aly Eldin (24).
They are the only two members of the six-man crew of the Tit Bonhomme that sank on January 15th near Adam’s Island that remain unaccounted for.
Despite 77 divers assisting 15 Garda and Navy Divers and more than 200 people combing the coast, there was no sign of the missing men today.
Divers have been concentrating on the area between the wreck of the Tit Bonhomme on the west side of Adam Island and Long Point at the mouth of Glandore Harbour where much debris from the wreck has washed up.
The bodies of three crewmembers Kevin Kershaw (21), Attea Shaban (26) and Wael Mohamad (35) have already been recovered from the area.
The sixth member of the crew, 40-year-old father of three Abdou Mohamad survived the tragedy by managing to swim to safety when the ship went down in rough seas two weeks ago.
