Design a logo

Kilmeen Defibrillator Group pictured recently at their design a logo event at Kilmeen National School.

The pupils were invited by the Group to design their logo and the winning design was created by Hannah Ryan in sixth class.

Her image of a happy heart running around the world with the caption “we can beat it” was exactly what the group were looking for.

The final design, created by Clare Kennedy (computer teacher Kilmeen NS) combined Hannah’s logo with a shield and the Kilmeen colours of blue and white, ideas taken from the many other excellent entries, to produce a striking result.

John Joe Lyons (Area Director of Units Irish Red cross) thanked the school staff and the pupils for all their efforts and talked about the important and vital role that this Defibrillator Group had in their community.
