THE 35th Quality Hotels West Cork Rally took place on the weekend of the 16th & 17th March.
Despite the tough economic conditions 128 cars took to the start in the main field. Daragh O’Riordan who won the event in 2012 was the top seed and his new Ford Fiesta WRC was certainly the centre of attraction among the large crowds that gathered in Clonakilty.

THE 35th running of the West Cork Rally sponsored by Quality Hotels will provide some great excitement in Clonakilty and surrounds over St Patrick’s weekend.
Despite the recession 143 entries have been received to date in the main field and Daragh O’Riordan who won the event last year has purchased a state of the art Ford Fiesta WRC and will give the car its Irish debut on this year’s event.

FOR the milestone 35th running of the Quality Hotels West Cork Rally, Cork Motor Club are pleased to announce that regulations and entry form for the event to be held on the 16th & 17th March are now available to download from www.westcorkrally.com or www.corkmotorclub.com.

NEXT weekend Clonakilty will receive a welcome tourism boost as over 150 rally crews come to town to take part in this year’s Quality Hotel West Cork Rally.
After the success of the town stage last year it has been decided to run it twice this year on Saturday afternoon, St Patrick’s Day.
The Cork Motor Club who are organising the event would like to thank the residents and businesses of Clonakilty for their co-operation in making the town stages possible.

WITH less than three weeks to go before the Quality Hotel West Cork Rally, over 110 entries have been received.
Those who have confirmed their intention to compete in this, the 34th event include Daragh O’Riordan who was agonisingly close to winning last year as well as Peter Lloyd, John Cope, John Dalton, Kevin Kelleher, Alan Ring and Colm Murphy.
The closing date for receipt of entries has been extended to March 8th.

CORK Motorclub are pleased to announce that regulations for the Quality Hotels West Cork Rally to be held on March 17th and 18th, and will be available to download from 9am on Tuesday, 7th February.
