SEVERAL West Cork businesses were among the winners at the 2012 Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM) Seafood Circle awards.
The awards recognize excellence in seafood among retail and hospitality outlets that continually offer excellent quality seafood and service to their customers.
Scally’s SuperValu Clonakilty were awarded the Supermarket Seafood Counter of the Year award while The Fish Shop in Union Hall took the Best Customer Service accolade.
Scally’s were winners again picking up the Innovation & Development award while Patricia O’Mahony from Mary Ann’s Bar & Restaurant in Castletownshend took the coveted Seafood Chef of the Year prize.
