Major expansion for Eli Lilly in Kinsale

Richard Bruton made the announcement

PHARMACEUTICAL giant Eli Lilly have announced a new €330m investment in Kinsale that will create 200 full-time jobs and another 300 in the construction phase.

The announcement was made today at the Carlton Hotel, Kinsale by Jobs Minister Richard Bruton.

The company is to begin work immediately on the new manufacturing plant at its existing facility at Dunderrow near Kinsale.

Major jobs announcement at VMware

Richard Bruton made the annoucement

MINISTER for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD has announced plans for the creation of 250 new jobs in Cork over three years by VMware, the global leader in virtualization and cloud infrastructure.

The plans were announced at the opening of a major new VMware office in Ballincollig where the company already employs over 550 people across two sites. VMware is expanding its facilities in Ireland with a further site to support the increasing demand for its virtualisation and cloud technologies across the globe.
