THE West Cork Education, Employment and Support Expo will be held at the Parkway Hotel, Dunmanway on September 4th next from 3pm – 7.30pm.
Admission is free and you are invited to come along and discover the educational training supports available for up-skilling, and participate in motivational workshops. Motivational speaker for the event is Alan Kingston of Glenilen Farm.

THE Dunmanway Enterprise Network is launching its inaugural Love Local Showcase to be held in the Parkway Hotel Dunmanway on Sunday July 1st next.
Attractions on the day will include face painting, bouncy castles and celebrity appearances from the the world of gaa, soccer and the entertainment.
Public meeting on Fiscal Treaty

A PUBLIC information meeting on the Fiscal Treaty will take place in the Parkway Hotel, Dunmanway at 8pm on Thursday night, May 24th.
The meeting will be chaired by local TD Michael McCarthy and panellists will include Jim Daly TD, Declan Walsh, Lecturer in EU Law at UCC, and Phil Prendergast, MEP for Ireland South.

AS part of the ongoing commitment to support local businesses, Dunmanway Enterprise Network has organised a crime prevention evening in conjunction with the Garda Siochana.
Sergeant Ian O’Callaghan will give a presentation on best practice and will be available for discussion during the evening.

Concerts for Tit Bonhomme families

TWO fundraising concerts organised to help the families of those lost in the Tit Bonhomme tragedy will take place in the coming weeks.
On Saturday, March 10th Connelly’s of Leap will host an event organised by Conor O’Riordan with music from Mick Flannery, Toy Soldier, LJ & the Tree Sleepers, John Blek & the Rats as well as a few more special guests.
There will also be a raffle with some great prizes on the night.
