WELL known Marine Correspondent Tom MacSweeney will officially open the new Castletownbere RNLI lifeboat station on Saturday, May 18th next.

 

The ceremony will include a service of dedication and the official handing over the station from the institution to Castletownbere RNLI.

Minister opens Goleen’s new state-of-the-art Coast Guard station

Minister Varadkar performs the official opening.

MINISTER Leo Varadkar performed the official opening of the new Goleen Coast Guard station where the first of the Coast Guard’s new Sikorsky S92 helicopters also held a fly-by on its first day of operation to mark the occassion.

Official opening for Coláiste Pobail Bheanntraí

MINISTER for Research and Innovation, Seán Sherlock officially opened the new school building for Coláiste Pobail Bheanntraí this week.

Coláiste Pobail Bheanntraí can now provide 700 student places in the new school building along with a special needs unit.

The school currently has 646 students and a staff of 92.
