RTÉ’s GAA charge unfair to emigrants

I see where RTE has issued a statement they are going to charge people from outside of Ireland for watching the Sunday Game and the like online even though it is days old when we get to see it.

 

I know RTE is short of cash as a lot of people in Ireland do not have TV anymore so do not pay a TV licence and now watch all programs online as they cannot afford the TV licence so that is where the biggest cash loss is for RTE.

First video streaming service launches in West Cork

FILM Fans in West Cork can now sign up for Netflix, the first online film and TV rental service available in Ireland.

The service streams movies and TV shows direct and on demand over the internet removing the need to rent a physical copy from a video store.

The movies can be watched on internet enabled TVs, via games consoles or on computers, laptops, tablets and smart phones.

The Irish site currently has content available from the BBC, Channel 4 and ITV and as well as Disney, Paramount, and Twentieth Century Fox.
