Hosted by Craobh Lachtaín Naofa, the Cill na Martra branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, the event takes place on May 9-12 in Baile Mhúirne, in the heart of Gaeltacht Mhúscraí.

HOTHOUSE FLOWERS singer and musician Liam Ó Maonlaí is one of eight guest-speakers to address the annual Imbolc conference in the West Cork Gaeltacht area of Baile Bhúirne this weekend.

This is the third Imbolc event organised by Tomás and Bernice Uí Aodha, who invite people from various professions to speak about their work at the one-day conference which is run through the medium of Irish.

The weekend activities get under way in the Ionad Cultúrtha culture centre in Baile Bhúirne this Friday night with a concert featuring the Hot House Flowers frontman.
