X-PERT – Free Diabetes Education Programme for the Kenmare/Sneem area

diabetes1A self management patient education programme for people with diabetes will take place in Kenmare on Thursdays (2½ hours) from 4th April until May 9th 2013 in the Kenmare Primary Care Centre, Kenmare.

 

The programme, which is being organised by the HSE South’s “Community Nutrition and Dietetics Departments” in conjunction with local general practitioners, is aimed at improving people’s awareness about the up-to-date treatment and management of diabetes.

Free family workshops at West Cork Arts Centre

WCAC’s family programme, Discovery Box, welcomes children and adults to experience art works and art making together, in the company of artist Susan Montgomery.

 

The workshop, from 11am to 11.45am is free and the projects are designed for children from 1½ to 7-years-old.
