NEW evidence presented on behalf of Ian Bailey will be heard as part of his appeal against extradition to France in the Supreme Court that begins on Monday.
The five-judge Supreme Court ordered the new evidence be admitted at a hearing in Dublin today.

Lawyers for the State had argued that the new evidence, which includes allegations of garda bias in the handling of the case, added nothing new to the case.
LAWYERS for the State are set to argue that files detailing serious questions about the garda investigation into the death of Sophie Toscan du Plantier in 1996 are not relevant to the extradition of a suspect in the case to France.
