CORK County Council recently awarded €50,000 to 57 community and voluntary groups throughout the West Cork area as part of its Amenity Grant Scheme 2011.

The grants range from €100 to €1,500 and assist funding groups such have been given to a variety of groups including Tidy Towns Committees, Resident Associations, GAA Clubs, Community Councils, Youth Clubs, Development Associations and many sporting organisations.
