THE Irish Restaurant Association has named the Castle Hotel in Macroom one of the top restaurants in Munster for 2013.
Macroom & District Lions Club in association with the HSE are presenting a “safeTALK” training workshop on suicide awareness in the Castle Hotel in Macroom on Thursday 21st February 2013, from 7pm to 10pm.

The company, Hosford’s Geranium & Garden Centre Ltd has been placed into liquidation.

THE Macroom E centre held an Education, Training & Employment Support Expo at the Castle Hotel, Macroom, recently.
The expo generated a lot of local interest with people keen to find out what options are available.

MACROOM’S Castle Hotel has announced that it has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award.
The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide. Approximately 10 per cent of accommodations listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award.
THE Castle Hotel in Macroom has teamed up with Macroom Hospital as plans kick off for the upcoming European Championships in Poland and Ukraine.
Pictured at the launch were Anna Sheehan, Don Buckley, Rosemary O’Connell, Elaine Collins, Rachel Kohler and Eileen Lynch as the hotel announced their premium “three match package” of €50.
MACROOM’S Castle Hotel has beaten off stiff competition to be voted best family hotel by Trip Advisor this week in its annual Trip Advisor Travellers’ Family Hotel Choice Awards.
The Castle Hotel was ranked within the top 25 hotels in Ireland in the “family” hotel award category by Trip Advisor and in January the hotel was ranked within the top twenty five hotels in Ireland in the “bargain” hotel award category by Trip Advisor. The hotel is no stranger to Tripadvisor and was awarded a Certificate of Excellence for 2011.
