THE Briery Gap is proud to present a Summer season of film which launches on July 4th.

The films will be running every Wednesday through out the summer until July 11th.

The films will start at 8:30pm, admission is only €5, season ticket available for the 9 films @ €25.

AFTER the phenomenal success of Oklahoma and Showboat, Kevin Hough returns to the Briery Gap to direct the much loved musical comedy Calamity Jane.

With classic tunes such as ‘Secret Love’, ‘The Black Hills of Dakota’ and ‘The Windy City’ made famous by Doris Day, it is guaranteed to be a fun filled entertaining evening which will have the audience singing along.

Conal Gallen at the Briery Gap

Conal Gallen

COMEDIAN Conal Gallen will be performing at the Briery Gap, Macroom on Thursday March 1st next.

Before he achieved his first ever double platinum album with the Live & full of it, Conal had taken the Irish comedy scene by storm.

His outstanding sense of comic timing, his tremendous singing voice and dynamic stage presence make him a favourite with audiences in all places and of all ages.

As he says himself, he was born at a very young age.

Gala benefit concert for Macroom Community Hospital

White Raven

MACROOM-born soprano and harpist Kathleen Dineen and her A cappella vocal trio White Raven will appear at the Briery Gap Macroom with special guest Gerry O’Connor (fiddle) for a night of Irish traditional music and song.

Calamity Jane auditions

AUDITIONS for the Briery Gap’s April production of Calamity Jane will take place at the Briery Gap on Sunday, January 29th from 4pm with Kevin Hough.

Calamity Jane was adapted by Ronald Hanmer and Phil Park from the stage play by Charles K Freeman after the Warner Brothers film written by James O’Hanlon with lyrics by Paul Francis Webster, music by Sammy Fain.

Bagatelle celebrating 30 years on the road

Bagatelle

BAGATELLE, one of the most successful Irish bands of the 80s celebrated their 30th anniversary recently with the release of a new double album, which put the band back in the Irish top ten for the first time since 1992.

Bagatelle were one of the first Irish Bands to tour the country with a totally original material and they continue to do so to this day.
