Gardaí find killer drug dumped in field

GARDAÍ investigating the suspicious deaths of two young men in Kinsale at the weekend have found 200 grams of the drug they suspect caused the deaths dumped in a field near Bishopstown.

 

The drug, known as “Mandy” is a mixture of MDMA (the main ingredient in Ecstasy) and PMMA and is sold in a brown powdered form.

Gardaí in race to get lethal drug off the streets

GARDAÍ investigating the suspicious deaths of two young men in Kinsale at the weekend say their top priority is to get the lethal drug they believe was responsible off the streets as quickly as possible.

 

The drug, known as “Mandy” is a mixture of MDMA (the main ingredient in Ecstasy) and PMMA and is sold in a brown powdered form.

THE FIRST Garda car to arrive in Bandon in 1962, a navy blue Ford Cortina, was among a collection of Garda memorabilia on display at Bandon Garda Station to mark the station’s 90th anniversary recently.

It was flanked by a 1961 Triumph – “a genuine Garda motorbike” according to Superintendent Eddie MacEoin and a Model T Ford dating from 1922 “the year we were formed.”
