Clonakilty Hockey Club, Munster Cup Champions.
CLONAKILTY Ladies’ Hockey Club have put Clon hockey firmly on the map in only their first season by winning the Munster Cup on Saturday with an emphatic 3-1 win against Church of Ireland in Bandon.
If that wasn’t enough work in one weekend they followed that up with an 8-0 league win on Sunday against an unfortunate Ashton team who were never in the running. Clonakilty have only one league game left against Clonmel this coming Sunday at 2pm in Clonakilty.
