Fiddler Martin Hayes will be joined by a stellar cast including Dennis Cahill, Steve Cooney, Seamus Begley, Pipers Union, the Voice Squad, Triona Marshall, Paul Brock and many more.
NEIL Delamere, now one of the country’s best-known comedians plays Bantry’s Maritime Hotel on Saturday, June 22nd next.
This week West Cork Times caught up with Neil for a quick chat ahead of the gig.
Born and raised in Edenderry, Co. Offaly, Delamere has now spent half of his life living in Dublin.
The Annual Members’ Exhibition will open at West Cork Arts Centre on Friday 14 June at 7pm.

FROM 28th June to 6th July, Bantry will come alive to the sound of music as one hundred world-class musicians descend on the West Cork town for the renowned West Cork Chamber Music Festival.
This summer’s stellar line-up include Israeli and Finnish violinists, French and German cellists, Hungarian and Spanish quartets; and Russian and British pianists.
Following last year’s successfull show which featured on National TV, Clonakilty Agricultural Show is back again on Sunday, 9th June 2013 with a packed programme of events to suit all age groups.
So successful was the TV Programme last year that it had the highest number of hits and the TV crew are returning to do a second programme from the Show Grounds in Clonakilty on June 9th.
A VAMPIRE movie filmed partly on the Beara Peninsula in West Cork has gone on general release around the world.
The movie, Byzantium, directed by Neill Jordan and starring Gemma Arterton and Saoirse Ronan tells the story of a pair of female vampires who wreak havoc on an unsuspecting English seaside town.
MAD Pride Ireland have confirmed that Skibbereen will host a Mad Pride Family Fun Day this year as part of their summer programme of events.
The Skibbereen event will take place in the Town Park on Sunday, June 16th and will run from 1pm to 5pm.
