The €2,632,000 in funding which is being made available for the maintenance and upgrade of a number of Cork harbours, as part of the agreement which sees the ownership of such transferred to local authorities. The man is understood to have died on board the trawler. A FISHERMAN has died after sustaining serious injuries aboard a fishing trawler some 25 miles off the Old Head Of Kinsale in West Cork. The alarm was raised at around 6.30pm last Thursday night when the Dunmore East-based 40ft trawler Liberty requested assistance for a seriously injured crew member.
