DUNMAWAY’S latest rising soccer star, Mark Buckley of Dunmanway Town Soccer Club has been selected to represent the Football Association of Ireland Emerging Talent Programme at the Hibernia Trophy 2012.
After two trials in Dublin where Mark scored three goals in two games he was successfully selected in the squad.
Mark must now travel to Dublin three more times for training before the Hibernia Cup Tournament at St Josephs Boys FC, Sallynoggin, Dublin on Friday, Saturday and Sunday August 17th -19th.
Dunmanway Town FC Chairman John Buckley said, “All at the club are delighted for Mark and we wish him all the best in the tournament in August”.
Things Just seem to be getting Better and Better for Mark Buckley who received a call up from Celtic Football Club to play for them in the Foyle Cup in Derry, The tournament is from 16th to 21st July.
Again the club are Delighted for Mark and wish him the best in this Tournament next week.
