BEREHAVEN Red Cross are holding a fundraising walk this Saturday, April 14th. There will be no sponsor cards this year, just a bucket collection en route.
The walk leaves Ardgroom Post Office at 9.30am and there will be a tea break at Causkeys in Eyeries at 10.30am.
The walk will continue onto Castletownbere and cross over to Bere Island on the 1.30pm ferry.
There will be sandwiches at the hotel, the walk will then continue across the island to Rerrin and head back to the mainland on the 4.30pm ferry to the Pontoon.
All funds raised will be used to maintain defibrillators in the Beara area.
