It isn’t just Bray that caught Katie Taylor fever as Ireland’s golden girl made history winning our first gold medal of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The whole country came to a virtual standstill for ten minutes or so to watch as Taylor defeated Russian opponent Sofie Ochigava on a score of 10-8 in London’s ExCel Arena.
