THE 2 Cool for School Duathlon returns on February 24th next at O Donovan Rossa Park, Skibbereen.
The adult race will be at 12 noon with the kid’s race at 11 am.
HE’S more used to being in the open water but the tables were turned for record-breaking endurance swimmer Steve Redmond recently as he was the one shouting encouragement for three novice endurance swimmers.

UP to 500 thrill seekers are gearing up for Munster’s biggest adventure trail, the South Coast Adventure Race which will be held this year in Liss Ard Estate, Skibbereen on Saturday, October 20th next.

A CHARITY swim will take place in the scenic Lough Allua between Ballingeary and Inchigeelah at the foothills of the Shehy Mountains on Saturday, August 4th next.
The 8km swim gets underway at 2pm swim and is being held to raise money for the Bishopstown Lions Club who will provide the charity funds to local charities in Bishopstown and Inchigeelah. [Read more...]
