This walk is in memory of two late friends of there’s, the late well renowned Irish mountaineer Ian McKeever and their late friend William Winder both of whom they climbed Mt Kilimanjaro with in 2011.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAA handful of jazz lovers in Bandon who were tired of having to commute to Cork for live events have come together and created The Cotton Club, a jazz and blues club with monthly gigs in Bandon town.

One year ago, Roos Demol, a Flemish lady who lives in Kilbrittain, came up with the idea to create a jazz club in Bandon, after organising a charity concert, featuring the jazz vocalist Laoise O’Hanlon from Cork.
