On Saturday, the 16th September at 6pm Deborah and Roberta are helping to unlock success in Clonakilty by officially open their new Hair and beauty academy.
Mrs Collette Twomey of Clonakilty Black Pudding will officiate the opening ceremony of the Fenice Hair & Beauty Academy, the first of its kind to open in West Cork.
Catering to a wide range of educational needs offering courses in Beauty Therapy and Hair.
As a family run business, with more than 30 years in the beauty Industry, gaining international experience, from Italy to New York, Deborah & Roberta settled in Clonakilty and have been operating their very successful beauty clinic on the main street for the past number of years.
The ladies discovered this passion for imparting knowledge and education, realising their true vocation they have been planning this venture for the at least five years.
Their aim is to be a centre of excellence for beauty therapy in West Cork.
They have already been awarded the International Therapy Examination Council, ITEC standard.
This is a worldwide accreditation and it ensures their students are professionally recognised all over the world.
As part of their education programme the students will spend time in the beauty clinic gaining valuable experience, ensuring they will be armed with not only competence but also, they have will confidence when entering the workplace.
