Duty Manager / Food & Beverage Supervisor

At Eccles Hotel in Glengarriff in West Cork we are looking for an ambitious, career minded individual who shares a passion for delivering the highest of standards and customer service.

We are currently recruiting a Duty Manager/Food & Beverage Supervisor with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.  Your role is to oversee all food and beverage areas with Management and to deliver excellent service throughout. The successful candidate will have supervisory experience within a busy hotel and be a good all-rounder within the food and beverage sector. As the Duty Manager, you will work with the Management team to ensure the smooth running of the day to day operations of the hotel during your shift.  Previous experience within a similar role is crucial.

  • Must be flexible and committed to success in a fast-paced diverse workplace
  • Courteous and focused, providing a consistently high standard of customer service
  • High level of problem solving skills and people management skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team
  • Available to work a variety of shift including late nights, early morning, weekend shifts including bank holidays and public holidays

Food & Beverage Staff

Experienced waiters and waitresses required for the busy season ahead

in areas such as:

  • Garnish Restaurant for evening dinner and Sunday Lunch service
  • Harbour Bar & Island Walk for all day casual dining
  • Illnacullen Suite for wedding and event dining
  • Captains Bar for casual summer bistro dining
  • Garnish Restaurant for breakfast dining

 

Experienced Bartender ideally with cocktail, bar and food service experience

  • Garnish Restaurant for evening dinner and Sunday Lunch bar service

  • Illnacullen Suite for wedding and event dining bar service

Employees will receive full training on Eccles Hotel property management.

All applicants must be available to work up to five days over seven days on rosters include weekends and bank holiday work.

 

Chef De Partie – Pastry Section

  • Qualified candidates with 2-3 years experience required, showing a real passion for food.
  • Must have a keen interest in the pastry section
  • Fantastic opportunity to grow into the role

Working as part of a busy kitchen brigade, the ideal candidate will be qualified with a keen interest in the pastry section.
The ideal candidate must have 2 -3 years’ experience and show a real passion for food.  This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who would like exposure to a main kitchen with the view of growing an developing within the business.
