Local Fine Gael Senator Tim Lombard said that he has spoken directly to the OPW who confirmed that, “There has been a verbal agreement reached between the OPW and the on-site contractor. Currently a written contract is in the process of being drawn up, hopefully we will see works recommence immediately.”
